Hi, I am trying to wire up and alarm with remote central locking to my 2000 Marea. Which two wires do I need to use ?

The attached diagrams show the wiring for the cars central locking. Front door locks are numbers 110 and 111.

There are two wires that go straight to the lock motor, one wire is yellow the other is grey. Are these the two that I want ???? or do I want two of the 4 that are below the motor in the diagram ? :bang:

Please help.

Thanks

you want to connect to the wires labelled B and A on the door lock unit connector B (i cant remember my italian colour code right now). basically either one is grounded when the doors are locked or unlocked. try them out first before you connect permanently, you'll have to swap them if doors lock when they should unlock etc. It might be easier to access these wires at the control unit behind the glove box (yellow relay on most cars). Make sure to solder or crimp connections - no snaplocks please

Thanks Stylers....What is wrong with snap locks though ?

exactly what he said ;) .. seriously, anything I've ever seen with snaplocks I've had to fix - and you wouldnt want your alarm or central locking behaving unpredictably.. which snaplocks would make it do..
