(G) all instuments stopped working

Hi all

On my marea 20v ELX all my dashbourd gauges have stopped working,does anyone know if there is a relay somewhere or am i stuffed and need to go to FIAT. some times it comes back and then goes again sounds like something might be loose!!

Check the fuses?

Otherwise you may need to check the connection on the back of the unit.

do you mean the fuse unit or the back the dash?and if dash is it an easy job? thanks

Check the fuses first and if not remove the dash to see if its loose connections.

Thanks 4 the help, checked the fuses and removed the instrument cluster checked all connections even striped down the unit to see if there were any dry joints,still no joy!!! put all back together and tried one last thing,with the ignition on pulled the no 12 fuse and replaced,,, at last movement, after removing and replacing the fuse several times the gauges stayed on,i am sure that it is a relay
located some where by the fuses,, oh one last thing,while doing this the airbag failer light is now staying on,any one know how to reset this???????

For the airbag light you are going to have to go to a dealer to have it reset (im unsure if an independent garage can reset it but i doubt it) i think its about £50 to reset it at the dealer but if its not bufgging you then i would leave it as this is a common fault on brava/o and marea's

Take it you didnt disconect the battery then...

Had a complete battery failer a week ago fited a new battery instruments failed after that but did not disconect the battery before the airbag light stayed on,instruments still on then off so it must be a loose connection somewhere but where????? the clocks on the same fuse but does not go off.
