Howdy fellow Fiat dudes!
I have a 2001 Marea Weekend 1.6 16v that has been rattling for nearly two years now at the front. I was told that it was the torsion bar bushes but when i went under the front i coudnt find anything loose/worn at all. Granted i dont know what i am looking at!
Then recently the arse end started to sway a bit when cornering. When i looked at the springs one of the bump stops had disappeared the other was just bouncing around inside the spring, and the back end even unladened wasgenerally lower than it should be! Now my tail pipe scrapes when bottomed.
I have a pair of springs that i bought for a Bravo a few years ago. Will they fit my Marea?

Any assistance would be appreciated!!!

If you are 100% sure the wishbones and the drop links are healthy, it may be true that the central bushes are worn and allow some play. I don't think it can be seen or sensed even, without getting the car on a test stand.

If the shop confirms these are central bushes, they'll want you to replace the whole stabiliser (comes as a whole from fiat).

As I already wrote here - the bushes can be replaced with similar elements from fiat Ducato.

And the rear - it is unlikely that Bravo springs will fit. However, I've read about someone fitting a set of Palio Weekend springs to raise the car and it worked.

Also - check the rear arm bearings - they may make the suspension wobbly.
