just bought a marea weekend "x" reg 100 sx
i would like to convert it to remote central locking.
is it possible to just change the relay as on a brava/o or has it got to be wired in.
if it is possible ,does anybody know where i can get a relay at a reasonable price.

you should be able to crack on and use the same type as the bravo/a.

( sorry forgot to add , as long as you have standard central locking it will worK)

Think you'd need to get the FIAT meta type alarm as you wont have the remotes.

the relay from a bravo will not work unless you also take the alarm, and fit the receiver behind the interior light.

however you can buy a replacment relay that converts the car to remote centrla locking. the relay has a small aerial and the kit comes with a pair of remotes.

these kits can be bought from your fiat dealer but they are often much cheaper elsewhere (used to go on ebay for £40 usually)
the kit is an original fiat lineaccessori part from meta alarms, i think M20 is the part number.
