front bumper issues

hey
i have a mk2 2001 brava sx at the mo.

want to get a new front bumper for it but not sure which one i need!

i am looking for a bumper exactly the same shape as this but with no fog lights and no headlight washers.
i want to mesh it like in the pic but with black mesh not tacky silver mesh, so the black plastic which is normally found here has to be removable.

http://www.run4fun.blogger.com.br/Fi...%20Weekend.jpg

any help would be much appreciated on the year and model of the doner car i need for the bumper

also wondering - how easy is it to remove and refit the front bumper and if i can only find an example with fog lights, how easy are they to wire up - just plug and play?

Re: front bumper issues

The bumper the same as that but without fogs or headlight washers is the SX bumper. Think they made them all the way through the mareas life.

found this car on auto trader and photoshopped it. its a 2001 ELX.

ive looked at many photos of mareas and a few seem to have front bumpers similar to that of a bravo/a. not like the one i am after. need to know what im looking for so i can order a the bumper or enquire at scrappys.

Re: front bumper issues

What you are showing here (with one huge opening) comes from a diesel. Petrol SXs had two parallel openings, just like on this pic:

Bravos and Bravas were different. They all had these two holes, JTDs had an extra opening for the intercooler.

When fitting the Marea bumber to a B/B please mind it is a bit different in shape, due to a bit more bulgy wings.
