Hi there everyone,

The radio HU in my 2007 1.4 8v Linea is bured out, and I 've found some used HU in a local junk yard from a Grande Punto, they have the same shape, same connection and even the same blueprint of circut, only thing is Linea radio has the number of Fiat 323CD while the Punto is Fiat 199CD/MP3, will GP radio suit in a Linea whitout any problem or ban-bus issue?

Thank you very much in advance! ;-)

The 323CD will read CDs with original track format, while the 199CD/MP3 will also read CDs engraved with MP3 format songs OR will also read MP3s from an USB port in the glovebox...
Beside that You'll need the radio code from the donnor vehicule :-( Needs to be the same as the one stored in the body commputer ...

Thanks Bernie for the fast reply. So you mean the different model of the radio doesnt really matter, they will work the same fine but just some functions are/aren't avalable?
I do know I need a code for the doner radio, but how to understand "Needs to be the same as the one stored in the body commputer"?

Thanks again Bernie, have a nice day :-)

Just meant that the code is stored in the body computer AND in the radio itself; no match = no radio ! So if you install a new (or stolen ;-) radio, you have to tell the body computer what code it has built-in to allow the radio to fire-up (radio will ask). Anti-theft purpose ...

Regards, Bernie
