Hi Guys,
I was thinking about adding something called a Fuel Cleaner Additive to my petrol. The way this basically works is you add the additive to a tank full of petrol, and as you drive it cleans the engine...

anyone have any experience or advice about this?

John

I've used it a couple of times nd tis good.

I usually put it in just b4 the MOT as it helps it to sail through the emissions. :)

while you're at it use 10k boost or Nitrox Rocket Boost* to de-coke the engine, this is great ****

Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX, what do you want? cupholders? open door warning light? grow up!

where you get this 10k boost and fuel cleaner asdditive from??

and he said to his himself, "wow! what was that thing, it went like a blurr. I wish I had a Punto".

A friend bought a bulk load of Nitrox 0-60 "Street Legal" cans which you simply spray into the fuel tank.

Worked quite good, but then I dunno what the big deal is really compared to not using it.

don't know bout that fuel additive, only used the one that sprays into air intake. can't see the petrol ones being great

Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX,

Air intake ones are basically just carb. spray. Petrol ones clean out (or in theory) your fuel system, so fuel filter, lines, injectors etc.

I guess using both at times when you would usually service your car is a good idea. I do, along with an engine flush when changing oil.
