So after living with the airbag light on (apart from the rare occasion when it actually goes out!) for a while I decided to take it into a dealer to get it sorted.

Today they think they might have found the problem, so they tell me they need to replace the Airbag ECU and the wiring loom (whatever the hell that is) and its going to cost me.... £650 quid incl labour.

The normal garage thought it was an earthing problem (since their airbag computer couldnt connect due to a voltage issue).

Is this a normal price? Seems a bit steep!

Do not pay £650 quid for it! Take it to another dealer and get a second opinion.
