I have recently purchased some speakers for the rear of my 1.2 8v punto... 52reg.... i have connected the speakers but i get nothing from them.. i have tried the speakers on a mates car and they work perfectly... anyone have any idea why they are not working???... reply cheers

if the speakers work in a mates car did you have speakers in place before you tried the new ones in your punto?if so and these worked then you have probably got a broken wire or something.get back to us

its the first time i have used the speaker wires in the rear, nothing has been attached to them before... i think they are broken just wondered if anything had to be done to the wires before connection... how will i run some new wires from the rear to the head unit??

1st check the wires are connected at the head unit as you never knowif not you can just connect speaker wire to the appropriate wires on the headunit loom and run them back but i would look at the OE wiring first because if fiat fitted them it would surprise me if they dont go all the way to the headunit,it may be a disconnected connector
