Hello I'm new here. I bought my 1969 Fist 500L last year not running. Got it running this spring, what a blast to drive. Now when I drive the car about 5 or 6 miles the Low oil pressure light comes on and the engine does seem to be hotter then usual. I pulled the oil pump out and the gears look to be in very good condition, put new 10w 30 oil in and same thing happened. This just started to happen 2 weeks ago Anyone ever have this problem? Thanks Bill

o Blocked Oil Filter (does the 500L have a centrifugal oil filter like the 600D has???)

o Worn out / too slack crank or other bearings
