Well it looks like the GP isn't going to be an economical repair, or rather given that I've already done the deal on a replacement sinking more cash into a maybe/maybe not repair option isn't worth the gamble and will likely reduce my return.

Has anyone any suggestions on the best place to sell a non-runner* 2009 GP Dualogic 1.4 Active? I've had a few offers from the buy-your-wreck types online (which were more than I expected tbh, getting on for half the WBAC offer on it in running condition).

* starts with persistence (i.e. not always first time), dashboard is dead, lights/radio/windows work, gearbox only selects R/1-3, drives ok within these parameters.

What were you offered..?

Best price offered was £460 unseen as-was, vs. c.£500 or more in costs* to get it running to the point it might be worth £1k. But it was by no means a certainty that the repair would work, or that anyone would buy it.

Quite frankly, the car was becoming a reliability liability.

Anyway, it's gone now. Never again for Duologic - excellent system and very relaxing to drive when it works, but no one wants to touch it when it doesn't. Currently Fiat-less, but maybe I'll be come back to the fold in a few years.

* not just this repair, but a few other niggles and cosmetic issues would need to be sorted before sale.

FYI the two best offers were from:
- sellyourproblemcar.com
- scrapcarcentral.co.uk

It's worth getting a few quotes, there was quote a difference between them. SCC offered the most, SYPC matched price and were local - they also pay upfront.
