I know it's not a fiat but it's a fiat engine, I've got a 2009 vauxhall combo van 1.3 cdti and at 1500rpm it has a a real hiccup in power , it's showing no fault codes ,I took it to my mates the other day (AA man ) he revved at fairly hard a couple of times and it stopped doing it for a few days , he suggested it could be injectors ? Please any advice is welcome it's breaking me :-(

does it have a DPF ( soot trap) in the exhaust..??
no warning lights.., generally runs o.k.?

I'm not sure about dpf , no warning lights or fault codes when you plug it in ,its only done 64,000 and 27,000 of them it as full vauxhall history, I had it serviced 4000 miles ago , if it is the dpf how do I get over that ? Thanks for your reply Charlie
the 1.3 is used in LOTS of vehicles,

Take the turbo ->inlet pipe off and clean liberally, you'll be amazed how much kak will be in there
1500 - 2000 rpm (varies from car to car) is typically when the EGR valve operates. Check for cracks / splits in the EGR piping and cooler unit
