Plus, I hope they can get the styling as utterly perfect as they did with the Mk1, Mk2 and Grande Punto.
Perhaps - I see your point.
But this will probably turn more heads. Gonna get more reviews, and it's hitting a new area of the market. They'll let the 500 range, and the current Punto do what they're doing now, but a comeback of a classic is probably far more exciting!

There is a photo floating about of an Abarth version, not sure if its 'shopped' or real but its certainly aggressive and a bit busy for my liking.
Correct - when it was still relatively "current"
Europeans would travel to the UK to buy used ones..as it was a real bargain compared the home market prices for a used Barchetta,

Then again it was never meant for the UK market and so fiat were never expecting it to be 'a success' there was some demand so they made it available but never marketed it or saw any need for it to be converted for a right hand drive market
