hi everyone. im a new member to fiats as ive never realy looked at fiats when buting. in feb this year i was in need of a car and i didnt care what it was. i ended up buying a stilo 1.6 xbox edition. what sold me was the loud exhaust (boy racer at heart) well its been a great car and never had any problems with it so when a abarth virsion turned up for silly money how could i refuse. 
the abarth was in what i thought was silver but its techno gray aparntly. it had been in a bump after driver lost control and hoped a kurb. but for £150 who was i to say no. had car delivered to my house as it was undriveable. had a look round it started it up(misfire). i was in for a good project car so set to work on it. ive fully serviced the engine including fluids of all types (oil/water/brakes/gearbox) now it runs sweet with added bonus of lpg conversion fitted its great. lower arms/drop links/arch liners/under covers all replaced and looking much better. all newly undersealed as well will on axel stands (made it a easy job). i was running ecu software with engine running everything was coming back normal but when i went to look at engine i could smell exhaust fumes from front of engine bay with alot more heat coming from left side of exhaust manifold then the other. so now im looking into having a custum manifold made and taking out front cat so manifold would be longer and attach to exhaust underneath. i would then have custum system with 2 inline sport cats put in and have exhaust sensors relocated to suit this. due to engine bay been so cramped also thought about have battery relocated to boot.this would help with stereo at later date. i have to get body work done as well but thats cosmetic to me and can wait. if anyone has any ideas im open to any. hope to come to a meet as well but not sure where local 1 is to scunthorpe but ill keep eye out. ill post pics black 1 is 1.6 silver is the abarth
