Jeep sales were booming in Australia, but parent Fiat Chrysler Australia was making hardly any money.


It has all the makings of a Hollywood script. In Elizabeth Hurley, it even has the presence of a Hollywood star. But the scandal engulfing Fiat Chrysler Australia doesn't look like having a Hollywood ending for many of its cast of characters.
Take the leading man. Last month Fiat Chrysler Australia (FCA) launched legal action against former managing director Clyde Campbell.
It accuses him of misappropriating and misusing more than AU$30 million (NZ$32.5m) of company money to fund an extravagant lifestyle for his family and business associates.

Is it any wonder FIAT is struggling with scum involved in the company like this? Lock him up and throw away the key.
