So I'm from across the Irish sea and I've made the trip across to pick up cars and bikes over the years but not recently. Not necessarily for a saving but it's very hard to get anything other than basic spec models here so it's worth the trip if you want something specific or speccie

I've been toying with the idea of getting a Bravo 1.4 in the nice trim but I'm just wondering about basic do's and dont's that may have become good practice over the last few years. How to arrange independent inspections etc Also things like how much you might expect to haggle off an asking price and How to get a HPI check and such.
