I've recently received a letter from my local dealer stating that I can change my 500 for a different car as I have almost gone past my first year with the car. I do like my 500 but there are a few cars that I would like to change to if I had the choice. Anyone know what costs would have to be payed off to swap my car? The other cars are not more expensive than my 500 so will that change anything? Thanks in advance

Best thing would be to talk to your dealer. I imagine the best deal would be to change it for something else from the same dealer but don't expect to get away scot free.

I'll pop round tomorrow and see what I can do. Thanks anyway :)

I changed my car just over 6 weeks ago, my 2012 punto was on pcp and I when in and the dealer paid the finance off on that car plus I got back some money towards my newer car.

As long as you don't own more on your car than what the car is worth, then they isn't a problem. It's just like starting new finance again. But try to get the best deal as you can. And if your after a better 500 then you could even buy a 500 Abarth turbo

Some Advice, don't rush into it, listen to what the dealer has to said and offer and walk away for a few days and think about it. NEVER RUSH

I've had a letter through recently about the same thing (New Sept 2013 500S) but for the price of the new 105 500S I could get an A500. Can you actually swap finance between dealers? I got my 500 through Perry's (and they have been really good) but the Abarth/Alfa dealer isn't with them and is a separate dealer about 3 mins down the road.

Also, if my car needs a bit of work (its had a bit on the ding on the back) would I have to get that sorted first?
