Anyone want to buy a laser jammer?

Hopefully this isn´t the wrong section for this post...
Won a Lidatek LE-30 on ebay yesterday. However, due to an unexpected financial difficulty (imposed by a policeman with a laser gun ) I cannot afford it right now. Would anyone be interested in buying it instead?

Oh yeah, forgot the price. 170.50 pounds.

These are illegal in the UK, btw. I presume it blocks the radar signal?! Not sure of rules for other coutries.

It blocks the laser signal. Those vans where the operator aims at you and it then takes a picture. It doesn´t give out any jamming codes so you´re in the clear. They´re also illegal in my country, but they have to detect it to cite you. Wish I had it yesterday...

That´s the jammer. It´s actually brand new and has only been fitted to a test vehicle. Www.kmph.co.uk sells them for 339 pounds new.

but if they shot you and nothing comes up on thier gun, will they not chase you and see if you have this?

Not really. It´s a common error. Even the camera vans wait until you are registered as "couldn´t be clocked" at least two times before the police have any desire to search the car. There was a case last year where a guy with a Target LRC-100 was driving past camera vans with the jammer on and after registering multiple failures to measure the police came to his house and took his car for inspection. It is very rare though and you could always remove it.

it puts up an error code on their gun. Basically it doesnt jam it totally, when setup correctly it will only jam it for a few seconds, this is to allow you to get to the correct speed so that when the error code disapears they can re-aim it and test you speed. Illegal in a big way, but if you have electric garage doors/gates they can be setup to operate these, this is how they are legally sold in the UK.

I'm not sure what the fine is but its bound to be big and i wouldnt be suprised if you lost your license or had a short term inside with Mr Big.....just dont pick the soap up.
