Brakes question - stupidity alert

I know my brake pads and shoes are getting a little low so I'm planning on replacing them next month, was also thinking about doing the front discs. My question is how specific these particular parts are to the car ie. do I need some specifically for the Brava/o 1.2 or is there just a certain size/ thickness/ hole I need to look out for? Recommendations are also appreciated .

They're usually car-specific just ask for brake discs for a Brava 1.2 and let them know the model year and they should get the right bits.

I'd find out what other cars share the same parts and ask for the cheapest!

My EPC doesn't let me choose parts for the Brava or Bravo, usng the Punto section reveals that it shares brakes with some of the Brava models but none your engine size.

Haven't really used the EPC too much, I'm sure a kind plee to some other folks on here might get you the answer your after.

get them from motor factors, not fiat, or get some of them groved and drilled off ebay.
the computers in the shop will give same price to the part no matter what car its for as they go by the part number dont forget the copper ease greese stuff.
