I got a 1.4 stilo the other week. The previous owner had to replace the drivers door panel as the panel was broken, think it was the handle. The Central locking was working fine before the panel was replaced. The key no longer opens the car or locks it. You have to put the key in the actual door and turn it. And it doesn't open any of the other doors. But the fob opens the boot, using the bottom button on the fob.
Wierd?
What could it be, Batteries in the fob? I don't want to retake the panel off the door as they tend to start rattling and squeaking after I put them back on.
Also, the panel of buttons on the drivers door are only half working. The buttons that control the windows up/down work, as do the mirror motors. But not the button that locks/unlocks the doors.
Its a bit of a pain in the ass having to open each door manually, especially with two small kiddies in tow and a narky wife:devil:
Any help appreciated, many thanks in advance...Steve

Just checked the pullout panel on the door card, where the switches are and it was fitted in correctly. The mystery continues.

Good idea, is that the fuze box under the steering wheel column.
Any clue which fuze number I am looking for?(y)
