I just paid £150 (inc vat) to have my Fiat Brava serviced, but when I got it back I noticed that rear windscreen washer bottle was still emptry,

what exactly does a service check?

should be in the back of the service book you get with the car, different stuff comes and goes at various intervals, the wifes panda went in and although they charged for the collant, it was not topped up, not sure if washer bottles are covered but would be nice if they did it as a courtesy, btw you have 2 washer bottles in a brava? whats that all about?

I assumed the rear one fed from the front one. Ho hum......

Just double checked this and according to the Haynes manual the front bottle also supplies the rear and headlight washers where fitted. So what have you just filled up with screen wash?

Thats very interesting, because my rear washer doesnt squirt, so I presumed that it was empty. I wonder if theres a blockage!

Phew! I had visions of jdillon firing screenwash in the brake fluid reservoir.

There's a bit of a problem with the rear wash/wipe. Quite often the hose comes loose at the back, leaks water all over the contacts and kills the rear wiper. Nice man at the garage showed me how to get in to connect it up again, not a big job, just taking out the screws holding on the plastic cover, pull it all into place, mop up, rub away any rust from the leak and put the cover back into place.

Known problem with the bravos and bravas.
