i posted it here because i think it could be a problem on any car not just a punto but anyway,

over a year or so my punto feels like its slowly lousing power, when you put your foot rite down its really loud and iv had nothing installed like a new exhaust or anything , and it almost feels like somthing isnt connected to somthing rite because im not getting as much power anymore, i would say it might be the exhaust blowing but iv checked it out and i cant see anything wrong,

i dread having to go up hill on a ringroad because im already going 60 and when i change up gears or down then put my foot rite down to keep to 60 its so loud ill try get a video today

does any1 know what it is?

Not a clue.

You need to service the car (if its not been done) with new spark plugs and plug leads and new air filter. Ideally change the oil and coolant but they should be done to miles/time anyway.

If its been used on short runs do the service, put in 1/2 q tank of posh petrol from Shell or BP and drive it like you stole it for an hour. It needs to get fully hot and stay like that for a while. This will clean out the exhaust catalyst.

If its still bad come back and ask again.

If its a 16 valve when was the timing belt changed? If it breaks you will be looking at a new engine. If its an 8V there is no damage but lots of inconvenience.

OP only mentions "loud" which could be intake noise.
But having DIY'd the clutch was the gearbox bearing checked for wear and is there any signs of gear oil leaking from under the bellhousing.
