Hi i have a 2002 Automatic Speedgear punto. I recently had the head gasket redone, new water pump, timing belt changed at my local garage. I started the car up the next morning and the engine light and airbag light was on and there was a juddering like it wanted to stall but didnt but lost power while going up a hill. After around 15 mins of driving the juddering stops and the car is fine all day but the problem reoccurs the following morning . I had a second opinion and they said it could be the coil pack, and there is a small crack in the disributor cap and the coolant wire was missing this was found due to one of those machines tht pick up faults. So i took the car back to my local garage they took the car on test drive and they said as the juddering stops when the engine is warm its not the coil pack and the crack in the distributer wouldnt make the car judder but they said some sensor on the exhaust isnt working which could be courseing the problem. Can anyone help please as i feel like im banging my head against a brick wall or been taken for a fool as this car is costing me a small fortune

get a third opinion you dont have a disributor cap

Get a second opinion on the cam belt timing. The garage who did the head job seem to have left it 1/2 finished.
