Hey all, I've got a '76 Spider, 1800 cc which constantly overheats. We've gone through replacing the radiator and water pump, as well as removing the thermostat and topping off the radiator from the opening above the valve cover. We're thinking now about replacing the head. Was wondering if maybe any one had some other ideas we could try before heading in that direction?

Thanks!

Does the cooling system have vents for bleeding out trapped air?

Compression test would give some idea if the head gasket has failed.
