Hi all happy wedding day crap and all that...

just wondering if there is any spec change between a mk1 and a 176... i know 176 is just a name but is that all it is?
im about to buy a lowering spring and shock kit and it sez 'fitting for a 176' the website is in german so i guess thats just there name for a mk1? dont want to get the kit and realise its slightly differant to what i could buy over here...

Hi Adam,

Presume you mean mk1 Punto? If so the 176 is simply the Fiat production code for the mk1 Punto, so yes it's one & the same.

The Mk2 is also a 188 (etc) so it could be the model version number. Wild guess - check the VIN plate to see if 176 is included in there.
