Hi all, I have recently purchased a fiat punto sporting, It is a 1.2 16v 51 reg.
I am just wondering if it has any kind of alarm or immobilizer fitted as standard?
Also does the built in radio have one? I have just noticed that it flashes around the on off switch?

Imobiliser as standard. Don't think it would havd an alarm as standard unless ticked on the options list.

The radio sounds like it needs the code to be entered.

Key blanks are £5 from ebay but will need immobiliser chip and cutting.
New keys can be cloned from the existing key but be careful who you choose to do the job.

DONT LOSE THE ORIGINAL KEY. Its programmed to the immobiliser which is linked to the body computer and engine ECU. Lose one part and you can be looking at replacing the full set. Yes really!!
