Was just wondering smoked rear lights are legal, that's all,

some will say yes some will say no

they are legal assuming the reflector still reflects the correct amount of light and the general light output of the rear lights isn't reduced to much

also some people will say its stupid and dangerous ect but thats up to you

lots and lots of people have gone through MOT's no problem with them but they will fail if you cover up the reflector

mine go through mot with tinted reflector, just remember you are tinting not painting black

Under "Construction in use" Act,they are illegal because the lights have to come up to the EU standard and with tints on they dont.most coppers will let them go but if you get pulled up for a licence spot check Ect you might get a £80 fine for the tints.

MOT uk says :Rear position lamps must show a
steady red light to the rear visible
from a reasonable distance.
