Is the any tuning potential for the engine?

fitted to a mk2 punto elx.

Can i pressume suspension parts are all the same as a normal punto(except the sporting)?

Hi mate,

Yes lots of tuning potential. A remap and induction will see you to about 130 BHP easily. Biggest problem is the clutch, as around that level, it starts to struggel with the power if u dont drive it properly, and there arn't many uprated clutches available for the JTD.

Suspension etc is all shared with the HGT

What about engine position? is the anything that would obstruct a struct brace like intakes?

Hi mate,

Yeah when you fit the strut brace, you have to move the brake fluid reservoir slightly. Its the same on the HGT, its only a case of moving it forward about an inch, very straight forward.

No problems with induction kits, once the old air box is removed there's plenty of room to get some silicone hose and filter down there.
