| hi friends :waves:  | Fiat Group query Not totally Fiat but I was wondering if anyone has driven or indeed owned an Alfa Romeo 166? I was enticed by the depreciation and was tempted to snap one up to enjoy the luxury at peasant rates. Particularly the 3.0 I'm interested in. Liam

| Moderator | Re: Fiat Group query Liam, do it, you won't regret it. That is if you can live with bill petrol and service bills... The 166 is one of my favourite of the recent Alfas. Check out www.alfaowner.com/forum if your after advice on these cars. Now wasn't that helpful...

| one with the dark side  |  Re: Fiat Group query Go for the 3.0 V6 super... this is 3.0 manual, as other V6 manual is 2.5, personally i would avoid the 3.0 V6 tiptronic as any repairs cost a lot on this Gearbox These go really well and handles as good as a car this size can being FWD. These are such a steal at the moment, and the amount of car plus luxury you get for your money... make sure the ICS unit works 100 % as this controls nearly everything.
