Cost,bloody cost

Well,Finally got rid of my 1.8 HLX, Bought a almost new 2.0 hdi pug.
I had a few Fiat problems, the key code light kept coming on,bewarned there are 2 ecu's on fiats, a Key ecu and the main ecu,the worst being the Hitachi unit, any problems and Fiat want £1200 to replace the unit because they cant use there pc's to work it out, they are to STUPID, if you go to a breakers (one in black country) they can fit 1 from a smashed vehicle,
BEWARE - Fiat, THEY r ****E,owning one for 2 years was the worst thing i did, the best well the 2003 italian car show, i now own a 307 hdi, its 10x better and for value check one out at your nearst dealer, fiats are dead.

Hmmm, not really an appropiate post for a FIAT forum, tbh.

It's the passion, you see

Re: Cost,bloody cost

That depends!

I use Motorvogue in Northampton, and I can't fault them, tbh. They always bend over backwards for me, etc. Even had their service manager pick up my Stilo from my house the other day, drop off a courtesy car! Not bad at 7.15am in the morning

Re: Cost,bloody cost

Agreed, it's entirely dependant on the dealer not the manufacturer. We've got two Fiat dealers near here, one good one not.
