Alright then due to Syphon123's ability to polish/wax/gloss his car for 6 hours straight (has he heard of television??) i thought i'll post this.

Do you reckon the novitec corner splitters would fit ok onto my standard bumper.
I dont think Id get the bumper you have after the trouble u had fitting it.

cento, as youve got the same kind of cento as me, how does the bonnet badge come off. is it bolted on or glued? Ive ordered a new one you see and havent looked how it comes off yet.

Theres a 10mm bolt at the back of the badge underneath the bonnet, and glue holding it on as well just pull it off carefully, after unbolting it of course!
Those DTM splitters should go on as theres quite a bit of plastic to bolt them too.

i got a cheap assed set of 14's and stripped them back and painted them

should have them on today/tomorrow will post pics then

also got nice new set of springs but wont have them fitted till thursday

hi

donz sorry for asking a dumb question, but hitting where. They Shouldnt do, mine are really close on the rear to sum item of the suspension. God knows what, im not mechanically minded. It looks lkike it comes from just in front of the arch, and travels to the hub, in line with the side of the car. By close i mean within bout 3mm. I havent got any spacers on I know that tho hehe.

found 6jx14 H2 - off to double check

yeah thats all it says at that bit

it does have S146 at another bit

and F96 at yet another bit

they fit fine on the back but they touch this track rod end thingy on the front - i saw it - even left a nice scrape on the inside edge of my freshly painted wheels [V]

How much clearance would you need??
I would go no bigger than 3mm spacers ideally but you could get away with 5mm spacers.
If you go bigger than this you will start having problems with the wheelbolts only being held held in by 3 threads!!!
Spacers on the front will widen the track slightly giving better handling too!

forzaturning.com sell 3mm speacers for about a tenner. not got any myself. there not required are they cento, well Ive had no problems anyway. touch wood

so i could use 3mm spacers and the standard bolts?

they sell a twin pack of spacers in halfords for £12.75

couldn't see any bolts tho

money as allways is an issue

i've just spent a week and £30 painting these bloody wheels it'd be nice to actually have them on!


and that bravo does look pretty clean wimmy - but i think joe is still in the lead

some of us have lost b4 we have started as a red car will never look as clean as a black one

I'd actually drove nearly 400 miles b4 that pic was taken! It was cleaned in Wigan and pic was taken in Clacton on arrival!
