my punoy sport 98 has 98 pcd and i bought some alloys for it the tosser on ebay said they cam eoff his punto an i asked the pcd and he said 100 so i thought no worries a set of wobbly nuts and im on a winner.
the alloys i bought were 17" with 205/40 tyres but when i got them they didnt fit, i measured the pcd and it was 110! after a few emails to the guy and the usual non reponse i went on the hunt to make them fit

Anyway my uncle runs a small engineering company and he manufactured some hub conversion plates dead quick and easy and cheap!!

they now fit and i was just thinkin if anyone else has the same issue message me and i might be able to help

kit description - it looks like a spacer which bolts to the hub and then is extended out with 4 bolts on , to bolt the bigger rims on.

They cost me £50

I havent seen them anywhere else on the internet

you can buy them online if you search for pcd adapters. they usually result is the offset going off because they act like spacers, but they are perfectly safe if the adapter is constructed correctly.

Illegal in New Zealand :)

Any type of spacer that attaches to the hub and then to the wheel, is not allowed. Won't get a WOF and may be pink-stickered by the police. A spacer that's sandwiched between the hub and the wheel (and secured by wheel bolts/studs) is allowed, if it's original equipment (will be frowned on if bolts/studs seem too long).

There have been too many cases of the spacer shearing. In one memorable case, two children were waiting for a schoolbus, and then killed by a flying wheel off a Mazda RX2.

As Jug says, probably safe if made from correct materials and if the offset ends up correct.

hi could you put a pic on here of yours,

do you think your uncle would be intersted in making some more as i am tyin to fit some 4x100 alloys and they need to be spaced out at least 10mm and this sounds like the best way to do it.

i can't find these anywhere on the net!:bang:

thanks scott(y)
