Hi guys,

yesterday spotted a red New Lancia Delta with trade plates in Shirley - Solihull area near PC World.

Looked very nice in flesh with its LED daylights. Guess it is just in final stages for evaluating UK launch.

Would be great tosee some lancia's back on the road over here

where are they going to be selling them from? all existing fiat dealers? alfa dealers or something? i want to have a look at one in the flesh when they're released.

Last thing that I heard was that some Alfa dealers would sell them - Not sure how many. I think that I also remember hearing that they wouldn't launch them until the Mito was released.

Just looked at the Autocar website and they said that it was being released over here in July 2009.

lancia have a website with a configurator etc. it's not the first thing on google but it's all english! seems really slow though!

in 2006 most reports said they would return in 2007.
it didnt happen obviously.
in 2007 most reports said they would return in 2008.
it hasnt happened yet, and fiat have not announced it so it seems unlikely that it will happen before the end of 2008. if it was happening in 2008 then surely the marekting campaign would be well underway already.
in 2008 most reports have so far said they will return in 2009.
call me sceptical but i'm seeing a pattern here.

in 2006 fiat officially announced that lancia will definately be returning to the uk in the future. they have never offically announced a date as far as i am aware. until they make that annoucment everything you read is pure speculation.
