hi my radio has a code saying ' check ' on it what does it mean???/

i assume this started when you disconnected the battery?

if it says CHECK all the time then i think the connection between the radio and the body computer has been lost so it cant check if it is in the correct car, or it could mean the radio is from another car so it wont work in your car. if you have the security code for it then you can make it work. do you have the code? it should come on a card saying blaupunkt.

During this time the message "CHECK" appears on the display. The protection system makes the sound system useless if removed from the dashboard. A secret code is provided in any case so that the sound system can be used in different Fiat Punto from the one it was originally fitted in. The code will allow you to use the radio even if the Body Computer is different.
