Hi everybody, i am looking for a car to replace my current Punto ELX 2001.
Here in Costa Rica FIAT offers Palio and Grande Punto but i see that all engines made in Brazil are 8v. is there any new technology that makes an 8v engine (2008) be equally or more efficient that my 16v Punto?

the 1.2 8v and 1.4 8v are both crap in my opinion, no power or torque and they arent even very fuel efficient. the 1.2 16v and 1.4 16v are better engines, if they are not available where you live then thats bad luck.

that's what i thought, seems that 2008 Brazilian lineup is all 8v. what a shame.
