Can anyone recommend any of the big tyre fitting chains for a cheapy, cheapy, cheap tyre? Any of them have any special deals going on?

I need a 155/ 55 x 13" tyre. Budget brand is fine, but preferably not a remould.

Any suggestions as to where and what the all inclusive price would be?

they all tend to do different economy ones, i think kwic fit do an economy that is made buy dunlop or Michelin.

does it need to be near where you live?

Yes, I just need a cheap new tyre fitted to keep a car mobile so I'd need to go to a place that's near me (Watford/ NW London). That's why I was wondering if any of the big chains had special deals going on as there's most likely to be one near me.

So far I've got a quote of £20 for a part worn tyre fitted and balanced. If I can get a new one for a similar price then I'd rather go for that!

get a price off www.mytyres.co.uk and get some one like quick fit to match it, therer are also some fitters on that site iirc

Same price as part worn, and without fitting Need to get one fitted tomorrow so having it posted is no good!

Er, the tyres you run are the only contact your vehicle has with the road, yet your considering part worns? Please, just spend like £10 extra and get a brand new one fitted.

One could argue a part worn branded tyre is better than a new unbranded tyre. After all, every single person on this forum is running on part worn tyres as we speak...
