As production of the Panda ( I mean the real Panda not this new thing ) officially ceased on Sept 5th 2003 and as you are in Turin, can you please advise :-

Have you heard anything which might indicate that Panda production, or jigs and tooling may be moved or sold to any other party, perhaps in a third world country, where production might continue?

If not and if you should hear anything in the future, would you please let us know?

But December 11-12 will be presented in Turin the new Fiat Stilo model year 2004...
It won't be a real restyling/facelift... except for a few details (i.e. interior/dashboard two-color)...

Will be available new engines:

diesel 1,9 M-jtd 16v 140 bhp (the same of AR 147!)
petrol 1,4 16v 95 bhp

No the last Panda was built in Turin, I don't think which Fiat will build it in another place...

The next Fiat world car will be derived from new project195 (new punto!!), glorius, immortal, legendary Panda won't be product never again...

New Panda orders have exceed of 65% the pessimistic estimate of 200.000 units for 2004 and of 22% the optimistic of 270.000 units...
Fiat estimates to sell 330.000 new Panda for 2004!!...

Similar condition for new Lancia Ypsilon 120.000 initially estimated... 130.000-140.000 now expected after two months of orders...

In Italy after two months Panda has had 95.000 orders, new Lancia Ypsilon 50.000...

but Panda never will die in our hearts.....
