Driving music

If you want a reaction from folk in the street it's got to be the Gummy Bears theme tune, or Boston- More Than A Feeling! Magic

Otherwise, yeah- RATM is brilliant driving music, also Deep Purple- Hush or Black Night. :slayer:

Monster Magnet - powertripping -great on your way to work :D
Panic at the Disco - I write sins not tragedies
La Caution - The a la menthe
B.E.P with papa roach - Anxiety
Carpark North - Transparent & Glasslike
FallOut Boy - Dance Dance
FallOut Boy - Sugar We're Going Down
David Guetta Vs The Egg - Walking Away. (really only good for the video, which goes on in my head when it's on...)

there are many more, but these are a few of the top ones.

ooh. and i forgot a really good one...

the dropkick murphys - shipping off to Boston.

Me First & The Gimme Gimmes - East Bound and Down (Jerry Reed cover, from Smokey And The Bandit)

but the all time best for a full car of friends has got to be bohemian rhapsody!! gotta have a waynes world moment going on there!

I was listening to this on the way back from Santa Pod yesterday. I did mention the Waynes World moment to Pete but he hasnt seen the films :( Gotta love a bit of Waynes World air guitar action :D

Right my songs, cant think of many at the moment but a few goodens would have to be:
Darrude - Sandstorm
Linkin Park - Faint (although I like pretty much all of their songs)
Green Day - Hitching a Ride (again I like pretty much all of their songs)
The Prodigy - Under My Wheels
The Prodigy - Firestarter
The Prodigy - Smack My B*tch Up (was listening to this on the way to work this morning :D)
Nirvana - Rape Me (be carefully when in a petrol station with your windows down )

I will no doubt add to this list once I get home this evening.

Have to agree, Rage Against The Machine make excellent driving music (y) Not so keen on the Evil Empire album, other than the song 'Bulls on Parade'. Put on 'Ashes in the Fall' from Battle of LA album for an amazing driving song, also 'Testify', 'New Millenium Homes', and, heck, just play the whole album :D

Janes Addiction are great to drive to. '3 days' from Ritual del lo Habitual is amazing, as is 'Been caught Stealing' and 'No one's leaving'. Also another great Janes album is Strays, and for driving play ' Price I Pay', 'Super hero', 'Suffer Some' and 'True Nature'.

The Prodigy - Play the whole Jilted Generation album :slayer:

James Taylor Quartet - Starsky and Hutch theme and many other funky driving songs (y)

Plenty of good stuff out there!

and LOL actually Lauging out Loud to the pendulum - slam video!!!

How about Roxette - The Look... (ideal for an 80s FIAT)

N'Sync - It's Gonna Be Me (singing along of course)

Kelly Clarkson - Walk Away

Edward Elgar - Nimrod, from Enigma Variations

Sting - The Hounds of Winter

Incubus - Wish You Were Here

Duran Duran - Hungry Like A Wolf, Rio, Electric Barbarella, Ordinary World (the odd one out), any of their tuneless rackets from the 80s ;)

That should do it, for variety (y)
