hi excuse the typing,this comes from a hospital bed

9,10,06 travelling home another driver hit me head on,had to get cut free from the cinq so we can safely say that was its final journey.

i have a broken left knee, smashed lower rightarm with 30+ stitches, multiple facial lacerations n eye damage to right eye, 50+ stitches in my face keeps me lookin like me, ive got cuts n bruising nearly everywhere else.

there is more details but the keybord is crap n ionly have 1 good hand.

That's severely bad luck! Could have happened to any of us.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery... take it easy until that lot has healed, claim everything you can.

What's the next car going to be - or is it too early for that? As Stuart said, we're lucky you're around to tell the tale.

Still being in hospital after 5 days shows the seriousness of this Glad you're on the mend Cars can be replaced (even Cinqs!), but people can't.
Hope you have a speedy recovery (and they don't leave bits of glass in your arm that get found after 6 months )

Jesus Christ Liam, Hope youre ok mate and they're giving you plenty of pain killers as you scottish guys cant handle pain very well can you Get somebody to take some pics of the cinq, itll be something to show the grandkids when youre older Are you gonna be left with the scar or are they considering cosmetic surgery? (God knows, You need it! )
I suppose we are gonna be honoured with your presence even more so for the next few months(Christ,im logging out!).
Joking apart mate, i wish you a speedy recovery and painless free days and nights. I know it aint nice being couped up in hospital for what seems like an eternity but it will soon pass, i promise you!

Very glad to hear your still alive!!!! The cinq maybe dead, but whilst it would be difficult, it IS replacable, you aren't mate!
Hope they do a good job with though's stitching (if it was done in A&E it might not be the best, get a proper stitchng person to have a look at them and make sure their perfectly well aligned, because if they are not aligned properly, your face may sag and the scars *could* be much worse afterwards.

I got into a fight and basically tore my upper lip in two, A&E stitched it back together (had to wait in A&E for over 2.5hours until they saw me, I lost about 1.25litres of blood in that time ) and it was pants, my lip has never been aligned since and left a bad scar, I saw a consultant a few weeks later and she suggested I complain as she WAS on call that night, and she should have been allowed to do it, as the A&E nurse made such a hass of it. I got £2,500 out of my medical insurance because of the botch job, and no it didn't take a penny from the hospital, if it did I wouldn't have claimed, it was purly pay out from insurance.

Hope you are out of hospital soon and self sufficiant soon! I know from very recent experiance that I didn't mind hospital and talking all day long to the fella's on teh ward, but I hated the fact I wasn't allowed to be self sufficiant, had to be escorted everywhere, wasn't allowed off the ward, had to be supervised whilst eating etc, and had to be woken up twice on two consective nights to drain my drains (horrible gunky crap leaking out of my face pretty much permantly:yuck: ).
