Girls.. would you?

While i was busy at work today i had a spare erm few mins to flick through now ( i think it was)

There was a woman, who had 7 children ( i think) 20 grandchildren and 5 or 6 great grandchildren ( could be wrong on figures but around there somewhere)

Not happy with that at 62 yrs old (!!!!) decided to have IVF ( should it be allowed at that age?) , she had a little boy and called him Ian.

The risk to both her and the baby must of been so great! I just couldnt get my head round it, Maybe cos im not yet a mother myself.

Would you risk yours and unborn childs health? i could understand maybe if she had no children.

Then it brings you on to the "whats the right age" as they say now some women are leaving it to late due to their careers... is there a "right time"

What kinda age have ppl had kids??? ( if u dont mind me asking) im 23 and all i get is "oh the clock is ticking you know"

People, staff meeting has been cancelled. You all have one goal today: to get Vincent Chase’s brother, Johnny Chase, a job. Any job! I don’t care if it’s a porn shoot in which he is being gang raped by a gaggle of silverback apes, if there are cameras rolling, everybody wins. 10 grand for anyone that can deliver this to me, today.

are you thinking of having children chick?

well I am 26 27 in a few weeks and to be honest I have been thinking about it a lot, after things that happened last year, i'd like chidren but at the min its not practical as have no steady fella and going to oz ina couple of weeks.

My sister in law had my first nephew at 21 and had my 2nd at 23 and had my neice when she was 25, she is now 26, so she has had hers young, my cousin in law had her first this month and she is 32, i suppose its not just baout age it's about your circumstances, cos she wanted to put it off a bit longer, as she was having fun enjoying her life jetting off on hols when she and my counsin fancied it, cos they rich and can afford it!!

My friends friend had her first baby at 36 and now six months later is pregnant again and she is happy with that.

It's works both ways round i suppose, as I am having my fun times now and hope to have a baby in the next couple of years, I will be like 50 before it is 20 so will have the responsibility till then as my sister in law and brother once the kids of off their hands will be able to have that time together when they are in their 40's, my oldest newphew will be 6 this year.

I am not a mum yet mores the pity but I don't agree with that 62 year old woman having IVF, cos there are younger women who want it and i think they should have priority expecially as this woman already has children but then look at the older dads like des o conner and rod stewart, there isn't at much contraversy round that.

But Debychick u r still very young, I have a few years on you and I am thinking about it all the time, mum was my age when she had my oldest brother and was 31 when she had me and back in 79 that was old.

Id love to have my baby back but that's not possible, I just have to wait till the time is right for me, meaning being with someone in a settled relationship, i guess when the time is right you no..

There could be a number of reasons, she could have lied about her age for example.
