Gumball Rally 3000

I would love to, Kate Moss did it in her Maserati. (The rally that is, as well as pete docherty and coke...but thats another story ;))

It would cost a bomb though, but anything can enter, some people in a transit ice cream truck competed one year

shh dont ruin it i'm just watching it on TV, the petrol will be sooo much aswell as repairs lol, maybe we could persuade enough people to go to make it an FF 'cruise'(y)

martin hadland did it in 2004 with his escort cosworth. unfortunatly he binned it at about 120mph and that was the end of that. but everyone that entered with all their ferraris, porkas etc said that cosworth was easily the fastest car on the gumball pmsl! an i have so much respect for an escort blowing off a **** load of top supercars lmao

sammi, how far was the Fiat Forum rally?
cos on Renault Sports Club they have a RSC Gumball every year in feb. starting in scotland, people join the convoy at different meeting places and end up in newquay for a nite out. then they gumball it back up north and get fewer and fewer until the last peeps get back up to scotland. its a proper right laugh!

30 odd renaults in a convoy all with specially made stickers plastered over the cars (they are designed to come off tho so dont wreck ur paint work!)

they have to inform all the police forces that they are passing through tho for some legel reason or something.

Personally i would be up for another FF rally. The coupe has pretty much had everything replaced on it so when i get it back should have about 20-30k pain free miles. So i'd totally be up for that aswell!! :D

The problem we had with the rally was that when we first suggested it, loads of people were really up for it then as time got nearer more and more people dropped out.

The rally itself was a lot of fun, when we got back loads of people said "wish we had known sooner would loved to have been there" We gave everyone about 2 months notice :bang:

I am up for sorting one out for this year if there is enough interest, maybe july time when days are longer.

£40,000 to enter  But surely it can't be in their rights to stop you driving along with them on public roads. You'll just miss out on all the posh hotels and stuff!
