low battery flash when full battery??

any idea why my low battery light would flash when it has full battery, and even plugged into mains.

what is it?

if its your laptop, unplug it from the mains, if it turns off, then the batteries dead and you need a new one

but then you wouldnt be silly enough to run it all the time with the battery

the batterys still OK, it has been turned off a few times and its still on, dont know why, but its sure annoying flashing!
