How come we can't edit our thread titles??

just u can on most forums on the net, so how come not on this one?

like, everytime i wanna add something to my resto thread, id love to be able to edit my title and put "update 03/11/05" or whatever the date is at the end of the title

If it needs changing, just drop mod of that section a PM, and the thread title can be changed

Nothing suspicious, just so the original title can be retained and reflect what the thread was originally about. On some forums, occasionally a thread can remain relevant from start to finish.

Then report the thread to a moderator and request a change. Many may reply as a direct result of the original thread title.
