Is it frowned up on to have all seasons and summer tyres on at the same time?

Not yet for me. I need to buy four new Michelin Energy for my summer wheels first.

We don't bother with winter tyres: East Anglia is pretty mild, and we're lucky enough to have a (all-terrain-tyred, 4WD, HDC, etc) Land Rover that comes to the rescue on the few really bad days that we have.

That said, I've not yet driven the Stilo Abarth on ice/snow, but I don't think it would do too well with its big, soft Dunlop Sport tyres and modest ground clearance! If you were designing a car for ice and snow, it wouldn't look like this....

Lower stance - wider tyres - narrow sidewall - i'd avoid too

Low power is better too - But my issue isn't going - its stopping

Mine are coming off on Thursday but only because the car is getting some other work done to it and it's convenient to get the garage to change the wheels at the same time - yes I know I'm lazy :D
