Moved into my home in October
We've found our bedroom isn't very warm, even when heatings on

The radiator kinda gets warm, but not ""hot"" like the others. Bled system with no major change

Eitherway - it was a gastly pink, so i took radiator off in Nov and we painted it
No problem putting radiator back in after flushing with a hose, filled it up - bled it, repressured system

Radiator Still warm not hot
Thought - maybe the valves are shot, maybe there stuck
So in Jan i swapped it to a TRV and new tail valve as well

Radiator STILL not getting hot hot

----
Later in jan, i found the system maybe unbalanced - other radiator stealing the heat and not leaving much ours
So i shut them down and opened 1 turn (out of the 3 availible)
No better

----

Feb today
Shut all the radiators off bar our bedroom and set the boiler going,
And tbh even with it feeding just that 1 radiator, its better, but its more warm/hot then actually Hot

Any ideas whats actually going on?

Its a Horrible 2 2 radiator (Radiator with fins to wall - Radiators 2 again with fins to wall)

We want to replace it idearly for a Type 21 or 22, so its not sitting miles off the wall, but the issue seems lack of flow?

Any ideas?

The systems been drained and refilled a couple of times as well

what speed is your pump set at most are three speed i normally have mine in the middle speed but you can switch easily to any it might help

i've got a toasty setting on the boiler

I've set it to max and medium - no major difference

Its a combi btw - old but still working

I'd be tempted to change the rad. anyway.. could be partially choked inside:eek:

the water circulating is obviously HOT , as it's only got the 1 boiler powering the system - and all the other Rad's are HOT

I'm assuming you've checked it's not 1/2 full of trapped air..that'll make it appear COLD
