Hi everyone.

Just wondering if there are any members near me who could help me out. I need to test my battery and alternator but I can't take my car to a local battery outlet as I can't yet drive.
It's my first car and there are a few small issues, which may well be compounding eachother, and I really could use a hand.

I'm in Letchworth, Hertfordshire (SG6 2NP).

you can get a multi tester for next to nothing from most car parts places it's what i've used before on my cars and bikes , i've also got one that i keep in the glove box that you plug into the fag lighter socket but that's only a quick thing to let you know if the battery and alternator are doing there job.
