You may have intended it as a 'laugh' but you're using it to make some sort of personal statement about what you do and don't like, and leveraging that against anyone who doesn't agree with you, to be honest I've lost any respect I may have had for you, you clearly have no concept of what a good or bad car is.

And if you've watched the room 101 show things get put in because they are bad or unpleasant or unwanted not just because the judge of the show decides so, the judge exercises judgement in deciding what can and can't go in. It's not fun or a laugh because it's your opinion exerted on everyone else
 
I'm going to be the middle man here.... Puntofan does have very limited knowledge on cars and driving experience of different cars - as someone myself who has driven a vast number of different cars over the years I understand that some of his choices are questionable such as the S Type Jag -

However I perceive this to be a bit of a fun post for some banter, and if people feel why a certain car shouldn't go than a valid argument for that to be so should be put up...

I'm taking no sides with anyone in this at all and everyone's opinions/experience is going to be different on individual cars!

As I have tried to explain to you twice already, a lot of the cars that people are suggesting are cars that I have no problem with at all. You clearly haven't noticed that I'm not suggesting the cars that should be in, I'm merely going with what other people are saying.

Like I say, I'm not making the suggestions. There's plenty of things people haven't yet suggested which I wouldn't put in! :)
 
Controversial one. Having driven one for three years as the second car in our household I have massive experience of it. Alfa Romeo Mito.

Another case of a car that looks nice but that is all.

My argument being the suspension is rock hard, however this does not translate into excellent handling, their is still body roll, no feeling to the steering at all and wheel itself is oversized.

The interior is horrible. The Punto puts it to shame, the Mito is full of hard nasty scratchy plastics.

The DNA switch - this serves no purpose at all and is pointless, ranging from unbearable ride to stodgy performance selections.

Massive build issues. Like the Punto the brake servo rusts thorough. I remember spending several hours sorting this out on ours.

Noisy to be in.

Amazed this car is still on sale, the Gulietta show Alfa can make a decent car, the Mito is not.

The Punto and Corsa share the chassis but are actually better cars.

From what I understand, it's actually very expensive, plus the Grande Punto and Corsa were actually better looking too. It goes in! :thumbup:

Someone defended the R35 GTR badly and I put a case up for the MGB.

I like the Mito, it's not a girlie car like the new 500 and won't fall apart like the Corsa but it can stay in because I used to have a Cagiva Mito 125 and now I have to explain I'm talking about a bike whenever I mention it.
 
My mum had a citreon zx once... It was a mechanical turd. It was awful ?
I think it deserves to be here unless anyone has any objections?

To be fair, Gavv8 does have a point, plus they did exercise a bit of Citroen creativity with the back seats. However, it wasn't really a true Citroen in the styling nor the technological spec. Its a genuinely tough call, but it goes in!

All Datsuns or Nissans they have never made anyone smile (sunderland you should be ashamed!)
Toyotas from the 90's onwards - go funk yourself!
Mitibushys... after Penti made them cool for a week, Father Dougle, kept winning in one.... now dear lord no the whole range.
Porsche 4x4's WRONG.
Hyundi's should all be painted brown as punishment.
Any VAG with a small engine 80hp is not ok in something the weight of Scotland.
Volvo 340, 440, 480, 740 and 760 and any parked XC90!
Seats cos they are cheap VW's on a managers company car list.
Ford Fussion I told the dealer id rather walk.
That S**Tbox nova in the carpark opposite me.
Merc B class it looks like a big.
Merc R class it don't fit anywhere.
Vauxhalls - from start to finish.
Kia's also brown
Dodge's.
The made at Renault responsible for electrics.


Other than that fairly happy.


Oh and all BMW "X" trucks esp if they are black.


This will free up a lot of space on the road for me thanks

i have to agree VAG with tiny engines that weigh over a tonne
Had a Polo Hire car - it was only 60bhp (1 litre eco ****y box)
It weighed 1.2 tonne according to parkers, MY GOD

It was SLOW
Put your foot down - nothing nothing nothing nothing - 10days later - YES FINALLY 50mph!
Oh wait gotta slow down now its a 30 ffs

Apart from the 350Z, I'd agree with the Nissans.

Apart from the MR2 and Celica, I'd agree with Toyotas.

Mitsubishis, I'd agree with.

Porsche SUVs, I'd go with.

Old Hyundais, I would agree with, however, the new 1s are ok.

I think everybody agrees with the vw bit.

I'd go with the XC90, tbh, the others are already disappearing off the roads anyway.

Seats, I'm not sure, tbh.

Ford Fusion, I couldn't agree more!!!!

The Nova, fair enough!

The B and R Class Mercs, I'd agree with.

Some Vauxhalls, I would agree with.

Old Kias, granted. New Kias are ok.

Dodges, I would agree with.

Renault electrics, I'm not sure.

BMW X-range, I couldn't agree more!!


What's everyone's thoughts?
