There is a difference between surviving and living reading the various reports from the various news websites, I would suggest the poor woman comes under the former rather than the latter.

It would seem that she escaped serious injuries, i'd say that was sheer blind luck more than anything but I'd be willing to bet that her next car is a golf.

Just lucky and it wasn't her time - the daily mail article comments pissed me off, all the VAG loves saying it was only because she was a golf she survived.
