I've seen that video before they are brand new cars rejected by the dealership for issues with minor damage.

Because the rules work differently they can't be repaired with out making them a used car and they can't be sold as someone might the try and sell them as brand new, so the dealership claims for the car as a total loss on its insurance and the car gets crushed by the insurance company.

Note the red car to the left with more extensive damage

Post them to http://youparklikeacunt.com/

I see cars parked badly all the time,

this one is brilliant idea if under car work needs doing

It's nonsense because you can't say "all" government dr's are heartless. I wouldn't be? Just because one or two news paper articles or a person you know is having a bad experience doesn't mean there all bad. I've seen what appear to be perfectly able people having blue badges. I never question because it's none of my business.

i didn't say it did, it shows what most people think and what people working for the government think are not always the same

If you need a blue badge you will get one, plenty of people who need them never apply and plenty who don't need them will claim they are disabled

The same apples to other benefits, I've met many people who will claim they are dissabled to gain benefits they're not entitled to, but if someone genuinely has a problem then they will get it

The story about the woman fit to work who died 9 days later is kinda a prime example, there are many people who have many of the same problems as her but continue to work. Some how in that 9 days she had time to appeal the decision which was still then refused.

Given that no details are documented surrounding the actual medical cause of death should could have caught a cold which complicated by her poor lung and heart function and suppressed immune system from anti rejection drugs meant she was unable to fight off the infection. It doesn't mean 9 days earlier she couldn't answer a phone or type a letter in an office.

I also know of a woman who has spent her whole life on benefits and when her daughter turned 18 and moved out to live with her boyfriend she was left facing losing all her benefits.... So she did the only thing she could do, went to the GP and got a diagnosis of depression and is now in a cat and mouse game with the DWP who deems her fit for work but she keeps upping the stake with her 'depression' and getting the gp to write letters supporting her continued need for disability benefits. Previously she never had any health problems and has even had a couple of foreign holidays since her sudden and suprising diagnosis.

Eventually she'll lose her battle but in the mean time she's taking money away from people with genuine disability.

it has nothing to do with heatless they have a set of rules and if some one does fit that set of rules then they dont get, its not even drs that decide who gets a badge any more http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-30330020

the one rule that should change they wont do, every badge has the photo of the person who is supposed to use it on the back, this needs changing to the front. atm all you can see from the front is if the badge holder is male or female by either an X or a Y in the serial number.

strange because GP's letters are no longer enough to get you any benefits and depression is not seen as a reason in its self not to work

people who need extra room to open car door fully wont get one, its not in the criteria for giving one.

It depends on the reasons, my mother inlaw has had bilateral hip replacements and RA she has a blue badge.

What she doesn't do is go around telling every random stranger in car parks her complete medical history.

On the other hand the woman in this thread might be one of those people who decided one day she had a mobility problem but never applied for a badge, or she may have had a twisted ankle and just decided she needed more room.
Then again she could be like the woman mentioned in your links have been dying of breast cancer and needed more room for bone mets which can happen quickly so not had time to apply for the badge.

My point is you don't know and neither do I and if someone NEEDS a badge they will get one

GPs letters as well as medical history can be used to support an application for disability benefits especially if it can be shown that a condition has a severe effect on your ability to do day to day activities. At the moment she's pushing forward with everything she can to avoid having to go out and get a job. Appeal after appeal but as I said eventually she will lose
