Spam

so what you're actually saying is that the forum or rather those who run it are sending you spam and because you've posted here they've stopped sending this spam???

I have just been stating facts without trying to make any presumptions.

Of course you and others are free to make your own conclusions without knowing who, why and how I came to receive 2 spam emails. But I would rather not be accused of making these conclusions when I haven't.

For info the spam were:

try it : http://STUDIO-HOUSE.NET/r.html?g=6

and:

this will help : http://2mantour.com/r.html?g=6

I don't recommend clicking on the above links!

The relevant whois:
http://www.whoismind.com/whois/studio-house.net.html
and
http://www.whoismind.com/whois/2mantour.com.html

The second domain owner is hiding behind a proxy identity.

I just got your email address from your public profile and downloading your v-card ...

Cheers for that here too. I was exposed via the VCard.
My tin foil hat obviously wasn't on tight enough eight years ago :D

Still, this is the reason why we use unique email addresses, so when spam does arrive, we can tell where it came from. It's proved handy a few times over the years, and a couple of times I have been able to let organisations find out that they've been compromised.
This one however is easily fixed. Remove VCard from contact details here, and nobble the offending email address (y)
